During three-weeks in March, students at CSF Buxmont Academy Sellersville participated in a food drive for their local food pantry, Pennridge FISH, of Perkasie. Supervised by counselors Samantha White and Karen Calderone, the students gathered more than 430 items to donate to FISH. Joseph Plakis Jr., owner of A-to-Z Air Compressor, of Warminster, and father of Buxmont Academy Sellersville’s social studies teacher, Joseph Plakis III, was so impressed by the students’ efforts that he held a pizza party for the entire school! Kip Suida, coordinator of CSF Buxmont Sellersville, said she was thrilled with the support students gave to this very worthwhile community project.
