Craig Adamson
Executive Director, CSF

Craig oversees all CSF programs—Supervision, Residential, Day Treatment and Conferencing Services. Craig has been with the organization since 1995 and started as an adolescent drug-and-alcohol counselor. Before becoming Executive Director, Craig served for several years as Director of Supervision Programs and oversaw the creation of the Conferencing Services program.


Jim Dille
Director of Evaluations

Jim has worked with teens for over 25 years, specializing in drug-and-alcohol and behavioral issues. Jim began as the first male employed as a group home parent by Bucks County Juvenile Court. He later created an Intensive Program for substance-abusing youth, which he brought to CSF in 1989. In 1995, he helped found CSF’s Home and Community Supervision Program, which provides in-home services to youth and their families. Jim conducts drug-and-alcohol evaluations for Bucks County Juvenile Court.


Judy Happ
President, CSF and Buxmont Academy

A former probation officer for Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, Judy began her work with CSF Buxmont as a counselor. She also served as the administrator of a CSF Buxmont school and as Director of Operations. As President, Judy is responsible for the overall operation of CSF and Buxmont Academy.


Mary Jo Hebling
Assistant Director, Residential Program

Mary Jo has worked with children and adolescents since 1980. After many years as a teacher, she joined CSF Buxmont as an individual and family counselor in 1990. As Assistant Director of the Residential Program, she trains counselors and houseparents to work with adolescents in a restorative manner. Mary Jo is a trainer for the IIRP.


Richard Kardon
Community Liaison Director

Richard was the founder and director of Branch House, a group home program in Montgomery County, Pa., which merged with CSF Buxmont in 1991. After a decade of involvement in programs for substance abuse, mental retardation and family therapy, he returned to CSF Buxmont in 2004 as Community Liaison Director.


Mary Lynn LaSalvia-Keyte
Assistant Director, Supervision Programs

Mary Lynn, a certified addictions counselor, started with CSF Buxmont in 1996 as a drug-and-alcohol counselor. She became a coordinator for the Supervision Programs in 2000 and Assistant Director in 2006. She trains counselors to work with adolescents in a restorative manner. Mary Lynn has worked in the field of addiction since 1988.


Rick Pforter
Director, Day Treatment Program

Rick worked extensively with adolescents as a Peace Corps volunteer in Palau and as a houseparent for Bucks County Juvenile Court. He started out with CSF Buxmont in 1985 teaching social studies. He has been a school counselor, a school administrator and Assistant Director, and is now Director of Day Treatment.


Rev Rhodes
Director, Residential and Supervision Programs

Rev was a caseworker with the Children and Youth Social Services Agency in Bucks County for seven years. He subsequently headed up a regional office for a foster care placement agency and developed an expertise in managing adolescent group homes. In 1987, he joined CSF Buxmont and established its Residential Program.


Pam Thompson
Assistant Director, Day Treatment Program

Pam, a certified addictions counselor, started with CSF Buxmont as a school counselor in 1989. She served as administrator of a CSF Buxmont school from 1994-2004. Pam became Assistant Director of the Day Treatment Program in 2004, providing supervision to all CSF Buxmont schools. She was also a houseparent for a CSF group home for three years.


Ben Wachtel
Director, Communications and Technology

Ben, who has worked for CSF Buxmont since 1995, oversees the production of video and print materials; configuration and support of computer systems, database solutions and related technologies; and website design and administration. Ben has also co-authored several restorative practices publications, including Conferencing Handbook: The New Real Justice Training Manual and Restorative Policing Experiment: The Bethlehem Pennsylvania Police Family Group Conferencing Project.


Susan Wachtel
Executive Director, Buxmont Academy

Susan began her work with children as a primary school teacher. She also volunteered with delinquent youth and was a foster parent, before co-founding CSF Buxmont in 1977. Susan oversees all aspects of CSF Buxmont schools. She is dean of students and associate dean for academic affairs with the IIRP.


Ted Wachtel
Founder, CSF and Buxmont Academy

The founder and president of the International Institute for Restorative Practices (IIRP) and co-founder of CSF Buxmont schools, Ted Wachtel co-authored the book Toughlove, a best seller for parents of troubled adolescents. He has been a guest speaker at conferences on restorative practices around the world and is the author of Real Justice, as well as numerous articles on restorative practices.
